It's a really nice application but I will be doing a review post this week so keep an eye out.

nail box review nails inc china glaze

Nails inc gel effect polish in colour seven dials this polish is £15 on its own. I do love the colour yellow is gorgeous especially in hot weather and on holiday.

China glaze 873 flip flop fantasy RRP £8.95 currently available to buy for £3.95 online. I love the colour orange is my go to colour for summer in England. But I have to say that I am not a massive fan of China glaze as a brand.

Elegant touch professional toe nail clipper  this is on sale for £10.95 I am yet to use it but it is a must have accessory.

So the box cost me £15 posted. The cobwebs at their RRP not sale price came to £54.88.

Vanish those pesky stains & giveaway

Hey lovelies

Anyone who knows me knows I absolutely HATE washing more than you can ever imagine with an active toddler and a husband who works in what I can only assume to be a room filled with dirt as he comes home covered in black dirt every day.
You would think my issue would be with my daughters clothing and although she does give me her fair share of pesky cloth stains from food and god knows what else, my really stain issue lies with my husband. No matter how much he washes he always ruined our bedsheets, the worse affected has to be his pillow.

Until now I have actually resorted to throwing out his pillow cases and giving him cheap ones that don't match the bed set.
stain remover powerstain vanish

Vanish has challenged me to see if I can save my sheets, I was so sceptical to be honest and didn't have much hope. But I figured what the hell. I put on our bed a pretty set and even allows my husband a matching pillow case ( I can say I was pretty worried I would end up with one going in the bin).

So I left him with his pillow for 3 days, when I went to check the damage my heart sunk a little.
Vanish power stain

I can honestly I just popped them in the wash and they came out the same the top is before wash and the second of is after a standard wash.

OK so I grabbed the vanish products I was sent to give a try.
If I'm completely honest i used all of them on the pillow case...

Vanish power stain

This is the vanish gold power gel ore treatment stain remover it has a roller head for easy application. So I smothered the pillow case in this before moving onto the next product.

Vanish power stain

This is the fabric stain remover - spray on leave for 5 minutes and pop in the wash. And yes I used this as well haha.

Vanish power stain
Gel fabric stain remover this is like multi purpose , you can pre-treat direct to the stain, soak or pop a capful in the wash.
I opted to put a capful in the wash

Lastly I used the vanish power shot they are gel pods you pop into the wash.

I am complete over the moon with the result it's like I have a brand new looking super stain free pillow case!!

Now I understand I used all 4 but I am pretty sure using one or two of the products together would give the same result.

Dark roots .. Don't care

Ok so it isn't any secret I have DARK hair, with a hint of grey/silver. I love being blond, I feel better about myself and I finally have a really great at home hairdresser who is affordable to get my hair the way I want it.

But my hair grows super fast! Which is great for the length but oh my god it's a pain in the ass for my roots.
As its bleach on my hair I try to give 5/6 weeks between highlights so I don't end up with a Brittany spears esk look.

I was sent this to review and all thoughts and words are my own, it's not the first of its kind I have tried (I will do a compare post of the two soon) but this one the colour and effect of spot on. So what is this wonderful product you say ?

It's called Bouffe it's a dry spray it gives you volume and texture but that's not why I like it!

It covers your pesky roots and it comes in 6 hair colours to match so you can find your perfect shade! I have light blind and it really is a great fit. Well why just tell you when I can show you !

I for one think its bloody amazing !

It gave me more volume and no one would know I'm a week away from needing my roots done, it blended perfectly.

Shades available are light blond, dark blond, light brown, dark brown, black, silver. As well as a colourless one for all hair colours and a fixing spray.

It's £5.99 which I think is a really good price and it will be my go to staple hair product.

Have you tried anything like this before ,

Is it ok to miss a parent years after they have passed away

Happy Sunday!

So today is quite a big topic which is very close to my heart. I have lost both of u parents my dad died when I was 14, that is 17 years ago!!! And my mum died when I was 25 which was 6 years ago this April just gone.

I felt such a huge loss when my mum passed away, it was worse for me than loosing my dad, why you ask?
Well when my dad died I had my mum to hold my hand, wipe my tears and to crawl into bed with when i had nightmares.

My dad died in his sleep, it was as peaceful as you could hope it would be for someone you love, my mum died slow and it was so heart breaking.

My mum has lung disease it lead to a collapsed lung and lots of treatments and  hospital stays.

Why am I writing this... I didn't ever think I would write a post about my parents and loving and missing them but when I said to said to someone the other week I really miss my mum and really need her right now because I am having a tough time. And quite honestly I was not expecting the response i got.

I know you miss your mum terribly and please don't take this the wrong way but I think you need to accept she's no longer here.
It will help you heal.
She loved you with all her heart and deep down you know she taut you everything you need to cope with anything. However I think sometimes you haven't accepted that she's no longer here and you struggle to move past it.

Well this flawed me ... For the record she still has both her parents.

I am here to say to anyone who has lost one or both parents.. It's ok after 3 months, 1 year, 5 years or 20, 30 plus years it's ok to miss them, want them and need them.

Will I ever get over not having my parents, especially my mum ... No probably not, there isn't enough therapy in the world to make it ok that they are not here.

It's ok to have a bad day and cry like a baby! It's ok to not be ok with them being gone.
Every day will be easier because you learn to live with it.
Don't let someone else make you feel like your feelings shouldn't be there, own your own feelings and it's ok!

Sorry if I'm rambling Iv never really spoken out loud about missing them, I well not in depth anyway.

I will ALWAYS miss my parents and I will always need my mum, I didn't learn everything I needed to know before she died, I barely had a chance to scratch the surface of knowing her, I didn't get a chance to ask all the parenting questions I have now, to be honest when I had my daughter tht was when I needed my mum the most.

I am so lucky to have my parents, they were amazing, my mother was my best friend, she was so ok with me and never judged me. I was lucky enough that mum and I always got on.

That's the beauty of your mum who you have a bond with like I did she loved me unconditionally, and it's very hard if not impossible to find a friend who won't judge you. I know my mum isn't coming back nor my dad, I am not that silly it doesn't matter if you "accept" they are not here it doesn't automatically stop you missing them or needing them.

I will always remember to love my daughter unconditionally and I will do my best to never leave here although I know it's a promise I have no control over.

Sorry if I bored you a little but I just had to get it off my chest.

Outdoor fun - cleaning toys - vitamin D

Ok so it doesn't sound like fun! But I promise you lovely readers your little mini me's are going to have a blast.
Autumn now asks to go and wash the toys which I think is not only cute but teaching her values on to be tidy clean and take responsibility for her things.

I know she is only 2.5 going on 15 but it's never to early to start teaching your precious baby values.
She was literally happy to be out there for hours so of its a warm / sunny day please cover your children up or use a sunscreen!
But it's important you allow a small amount of exposure to the sun to help them get enough vitamins D which helps with energy, and bones!
Having a vitamin D deficiency is no fun (my vitamins count was super low) 10 minutes in the sun will be enough for the day to get a good amount of vitamins D into the system.

I did help the first time but now she does it and I parent from the chair (less wet that way) but I make sure we have music playing so she cleans with a wiggle.

Have you tried this ?

Love Aimee
