AD | Motorpoint on the road

 So I want to do a little follow up. Do you remember back in April I had the absolute pleasure of working with Motorpoint and going on an extended test drive with them? Check it out here. It was an incredible experience, and I absolutely adored the car and the staff were absolutely incredible. We are working together again and this time they have loaned me the perfect car for an extended family road trip to Cornwall to visit family for a family wedding.

 

Motorpoint helped us source the perfect car for our family. We need something to fit all six of us and all of our luggage!

 

 

We were loaned a silver Ford Galaxy seven-seater for our family Road trip. We had the car for four days and it was to be big enough to fit all our luggage, a double pushchair, and six members of family, two of which are in car seats. It was a really lovely experience. The Ford Galaxy had so much room in the back for all of our luggage it really took away all of the stress of packing.

 

The staff at our local Motorpoint Portsmouth are amazing. They really listened to us and took all of our needs into consideration when helping us find our perfect car. They were absolutely incredible in showing us how to use the car and all of its features.

 

The Ford Galaxy was so spacious. The inside was absolutely huge and perfect for our family. The car has an integrated map which we found extremely helpful to navigate on our way to and from Cornwall.

 

The middle row of seats all have iso-fix which is incredible. It means each seat was individual and really roomy. The seat at the very back in the boot was a really good size and Autumn sat in this one on the way to and from Cornwall.

 

Motorpoint have a price promise and the price is unbeatable. They do price matching daily making sure that you get the best available deal.

 

Because I am a content creator, I had this on an extended loan which I am forever grateful. It allowed me to be able to go and spend some quality time with my family whom I don’t get to see very often.

 

I did the brunt of the driving, which allowed Davin to sit in the back with the boys to keep them entertained on the journey.

 

I absolutely love this car, it was so spacious, nice and easy to drive, it had everything that we needed to ensure that we had a comfortable journey.

Buying a car is a huge decision to make. As a family, we have a large number of boxes to tick and with three children (often in tow) we want the car buying experience to be as easy and stress free as possible. 

 

Davin knows so much more on the car front than I do. He would gladly spend hours researching the cars that would be the best fit for our family. This goes down to specific details including the width of the back seats (to make sure we have enough room for 3 children and 2 car seats).

Our ideal family car would be a 7 seater - VW Tiguan orSkoda Kodiaq or similar – as this style and size allows us to fit everyone in with room to grow. We also need enough boot space to fit a pushchair.

 

Motorpoint invited us in to test drive a family car. Motorpoint is the home of nearly new cars - all are under warranty and checked by experts. Most cars are under 4 years old and have less than 30,000 miles.

When we arrived at the Motorpoint store in Portsmouth we were treated to a wonderful warm welcome. I was pleased to see a huge selection of cars to look round and the store was all so clean and well presented. It was a really lovely atmosphere, which is so important when you’re on the hunt for the perfect car. There were so many styles and types of cars available - there would definitely be something for everyone. All of our questions were answered and we felt so at ease, not under pressure and we were really reassured during the whole experience. 

 

We decided on the Skoda Kodiaq to take out on a test drive. Our ID and licence were checked and then we were free to take the car out. We brought the kids with us because it was so important for us to see how our car seats would  fit in the car and how our children felt about it. 

 

For the purpose of this blog post, we are allowed to take the car out for longer than the normal test drive.  One of the selling points for us is that Motorpoint offer nearly new cars at an unbeatable price and all under warranty! As well as flexible finance options which are tailored to you.

We test drove the Skoda Kodiaq, oh gosh what a beautiful car! it was in white (which is a favourite for me), it has 7 seats and accommodated us really well! Autumn loved being in the optional boot seat, with using 6 seats we still had room for shopping and our double pushchair. Very well presented and such a dream to drive! 

I loved test driving this car for a Motorpoint because It is the perfect family car for us and it was such a wonderful experience, we loved test driving this car from Motorpoint because they listened to what we wanted from a car, gave us great options, were kind and welcoming and really made us feel important during the whole experience.
